This device is the “Smart Management System for Controlled Substances and Narcotics in Outpatient Pharmacies,” and it is primarily used for the storage and management of special-category medications in hospital outpatient and emergency pharmacies as well as operating rooms.
The special pharmaceutical management system breaks away from the traditional storage and dispensing methods for specialized medications. By incorporating new, advanced security identification features, it enables strict monitoring and management of pharmaceuticals, supports node-based management of medication-use processes, and maintains long-term records. This enhances both the safety and portability of medication use.
Functional features:
① Multi-factor authentication: Supports a variety of combined access control methods, including facial recognition, QR code scanning, card swiping, and fingerprint login. Additionally equipped with a mechanical lock and an electronic lock for the cabinet door, this system features intelligent control to meet the stringent safety management requirements for specially controlled drugs such as toxic, narcotic, and psychotropic substances.
② Two drug-storage methods for precise dispensing: Loose medications are stored in a conveyor-type magazine structure, with one medication per compartment and real-time monitoring; medications in full boxes are stored in a grid-based structure.
③ Barcode Scanning: Scan barcodes when pharmaceuticals enter or leave the warehouse, scan during medication retrieval, and verify medications during dispensing.
④. Abnormal alarm notification: If the cabinet is illegally opened or if the temperature and humidity inside the cabinet exceed the normal range, the cabinet can sound an alarm or send an alert message to the administrator.
⑤. Embedded UPS: Continuous operation for 8 hours in the event of a mains power failure; standby mode for up to three days (optional).
